Why hasn't there been new themed puzzles on Sunday? :(

The clues are sometimes quite arbitrary. One time, the clues were "co-ed american folk band with three members". The answer? The Lumineers, even though they a) debuted with 2 members, were 4 at one point and are currently 2 again; and b) were only a three member co-ed band for three years (2015-2018), more than eight years ago. What's the criteria then? Another time, the clues were "massively popular female pop artist that debuted in 2019". The right answer was apparently Billie Eilish, but she released her first single in 2015, and then a very succesful EP in 2017. One of my guesses was Chappell Roan, who released her first EP with a label in 2017. The game marked her debut in 2023, which coincides with the release of her first studio album. We could then say the game considers an artist's debut to be when they released their first LP. HOWEVER, another one of my guesses was Black Pink. The game considers their debut to have been in 2016, and yeah that's when they released music for the first time, but they didn't release a studio album until 2020! So, what's the real criteria for that then?? And now that we're on it, what are the popularity scores based on? I would appreciate some transparency on this matter.

Hey guys, first off, fantastic game, I love it! I've only got one ick, the box office hints. On today's game (Capt. America Civil War) it was 1.2B$ but my earlier guess of HP: Deathly Hallow 2 (1.3B$) didn't count as a yellow guess, so I thought i overshot it wildly. On the opposite end, I had a yellow guess a few days ago at around 45M$ which I took to mean around 90M$ tops. But the movie actually was Real Steel with 229M$, over four times my "close guess". with the genres on here being so rigid and inconsistently designated, I'm thinking it would be really helpful to have a page of all the artists on the list and what genre you have designated them to. Not intuitive on some of the cast selections. Limited by the number of cast shown and some of the prioritization seems off. For example I guessed Top Gun: Maverick and Glen Powell was not shown as supporting cast and the clue given ended up telling me the cast member was in Hit Man which led to the clue actually being the actor Glen Powell. Also guessed 12 Angry Men and it didnt credit Henry Fonda as the lead actor. Feels like cast needs to be more adaptable and if the cast member is in the movie the it should help inform guesses.

Yea no, aretha franklon did not release a Debut Album in 1956. Her first album released in 1960. An ep of 5 Christian songs recorded at 14 years old is way too obscure, when there are 10s of other artists that fit almost perfectly. I love spotle.movies, but music is nearly unplayable. No hints, genre is up to interpretation, debut is confusing, and rank is useless with no context.

On the browser when I play harmonies, I am unable to see the results when I make the connections. Even when I lose, the results fail to load and show up for the game. This is only when I play on chrome on my computer

I think Spotle is great! It’s super fun, and I love the tournaments. Two quick suggestions, it would be great if you did an unlimited situation, where people could play forever. First of all I love all of your games! I also enjoy brackets a lot but the categories are sometimes not quite clear to me. For example these "best Spotle artist of may/April" - I never really now what I am supposed to vote for. Is it just a collection of artist that were featured in spotle? Am I voting for the artist and general or for the particular songs? Etc. So I personally think the categories for brackets could be more specific or better explained. It would be good for a close marked answer on actors that are the support cast in a guessed movie but the lead role in the answer. This way you are close in guessing they are in the film but not in the role of the movie guessed. For instance today I guessed House Bunny that had Tom Hanks in the support cast, the answer was Forrest Gump where Hanks is the lead role. I could have gotten this as an idea if Hanks was marked as close in my House Bunny answer
